Web pages for therapists
Individual web sites can be expensive to build and complicated to manage. Now members can afford to have their own personal web site, attached to the Healer Foundation web site for the modest annual cost of £40 pa. That's about the annual cost of a postcard in your local newsagent's window.
Think of it as your own online brochure, explaining the range of therapies that you offer, including brief testimonials and client comments etc. The single page format is porven and tested and is working well for over 200 therapists across sefera large web sites. An ideal word count is 200 to 350, to give a balanced look to your page.

It works for me!.....................
I would like to let everyone know how pleased I am with the web page which I have linked to the healer foundation web site. Since I began using it almost a year ago I have had regular new clients contacting me for appointments. I usually receive between three and eight enquiries a month with 90% of them turning into actual appointments, most of whom become regular clients. One day I even have four enquires all from the web page! Most people seem to find me by typing 'reiki in Pontefract' or 'healing in Pontefract' into the search engine and I am usually in the top three of the search. I also hear from clients that they like the fact that they can see what I look like, my qualifications and that I am registered to an organisation, not just sending any old info across the internet. I would say that the fee for the site has more than paid for itself and it is my best source of new clients apart from word of mouth. I have even decided not to resubscibe to Yellow Pages this year as previously I have had little respoonse and paid a lot more than the web page fee for the privilege!

Q & A
| Can I include more words and images? |
The price is reasonable because we use a standard format, altho I can always squeeze in a logo, if you want. You can use more words, but the page will become very long and visitors probably won't read too far. So 200 - 350 words is about right. |
| Does it take long to publish? |
Pages take 2 - 3 days to set up on average. Then we correct any errors and you have the option of changing some of your words, if you want. |
| What if I change my email address or get a new phone number? |
No problem. Changes take just a day or two to implement and there is no charge for them. |
| Can I design my own page? |
Yes and No! The price quoted is for a standard format that I know works well for therapists. However, I also build full web sites for complementary therapists and always quote competitive prices. See www.greendrift.co.uk for some examples. |
| I've got a web site already, so what's the point? |
Our pages are fully coded for search engines to bring visitors directly to your page, so they usually work well. Several therapists have found that these practitioner pages linked to the main HF web site attract many more visitors to their own full web sites. So it is worth doing both if you have already paid out for a full site. |
What do I need to send?

Send your prepayment of £40 payable to The Healer Foundation, to Clare Walsh, 5 Ladywell Road , Boroughbridge, YORK YO51 9HL
Send the following information for your web page directly to The Healer Foundation's web master:
1. Your wording in a Word document by email or on a disk
2. Details of where you work including your post code (for the map link)
3. An image (JPG file from a digital camera, or a photograph to scan.)
